Charice Performs with US Stars, Receives Standing Ovation in Las Vegas

Our very own Charice hits global headlines once again as she got two standing ovations for her performance with musician-record producer David Foster for a benefit concert in Las Vegas.
The benefit concert entitled “David Foster and Friends” at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas last Friday, May 23, 2008, features David Foster and his discoveries like Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli and Michael Buble.
Charice sang a medley of Whitney Houston’s hits- “I Will Always Love You” and “I Have Nothing” in front of almost 10,000 people.

hahah…tigilan nyo na yan…kahit anong mangyari No. 1 pa rin ang kapamilya…heheh…a funny story pumunta yong eat bulaga for a show sa la carlota city, negros occidental for a show…mabibilang mu lang yung nanood, tapos yung kakatawa pa yung lumabas sa tv ang daming tao…panu naging no. 1 ung gma..?

Puwede tigilan n ang pagtatalo ninyo sa mga big networks ng Pilipinas may maitutulong ba yan sa inyo. Ang chicheap ninyo. Ang mahalaga may isang batang Pilipina ang nakakapagbigay sa tin ng Karangalan sa bansa sa larangan ng musika. At iwish ninyo n lang ang tao na
mas malayo pa ang marating niya. Itigil ninyo na ang walang kabuluhang pagtatalo. Di naman kayo matutlungan ng mga networks na iyan sa personal na buhay ninyo, di ba. Unless na makipila kayo sa mga Foundation nila.

congratulations charice! i knew in my heart from the very first time i saw you perform sa little big star that you would be a champion in your own right. i knew then that sam concepcion had the mileage because there was so much media hype created about him & i thought it was rather unfair. but heaven knows who is the real winner–you are my dear! i just hope you\’ll keep your feet grounded & forgive all the people who don\’t believe in you as well as those who don\’t like you. you are the REAL LITTLE BIG STAR OF OUR COUNTRY! congrats again & keep up the good work.
