Steph Henares Makes It to Top 10 of Asian Supermodel Contest 2008

Steph Henares, daughter of GMA Artist Center head Ida Henares, was among the Top 10 in the recently concluded 2008 Asian Supermodel Contest which was won by host country China. Two other Philippine delegates, Arci Muñoz and Rhian Ramos won special awards.
The Philippines has sent 5 delegates to the Asian Supermodel Contest which was held in Guangxi, China and they are Rhian Ramos, Steph Henares, Arci Muñoz, Abby Cruz, and Rhea Nakpil.
6 other countries also sent 5 delegates each, and these countries are China, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand.
A delegate from host country China won 1st place, a South Korean delegate won 2nd place while a representative from Indonesia won 3rd place, in the finals which took place on May 26, 2008.
Our very own Steph Henares was able to penetrate the Top 10 cut.
Two other delegates from the Philippines won special awards: Young actress Rhian Ramos grabbed the Vitality Award and Starstruck alum Arci Muñoz won the Miss International Friendship Award.

Bakit ba Ebs wala? Haaaayyy! walang karapatdapat na maging Supermodel sa kanila kaya ganoon…..Malamang kung may Superlobo na category, tiyak qualified na qualified sila …no doubt diyan sila magaling MGA BITTER…..hahahahahahahaah jeling na jeling sila o sige padala nyo na si Pokwang….at least may rep kayo…..

Anu ba yan indonesia thailand china di naka penetrate even to the top three. Paano kasi wala naman talent sa modeling ung pinadala. sana tiyakin nila next time na talagang deserving ung contestant para manalo ng major award

A comment from KFC Devil below calling the girls starlet and shes very proud of Angel Locsin. For what? For being the biggest traitor in TV history. FYI, Angel is already a has-been, meaning: LAOS NA!.

Imbes na maging proud kayo at magkaisa dahil may napanalunang awards ang mga Pilipino, hanggang dito puro network war pa din ang inaatupag niyo. Kung ganyan ugali niyo talagang walang mangyayaring maganda.
Congrats to the Pinoy delegates in the 2008 Asia Supermodel search. Even though they only had ONE day to prepare and are the shortest contestants (the other countries had MONTHS to prepare and are more than 6 feet in height), they still managed to bag awards and are actually the crowd favorites because they are said to be the prettiest and the most fluent in English. Even the photographers are running after them.
So bago kayo manglait ng kapwa niyo, atleast alamin niyo muna ang buong storya at wag kagad manghusga. Kapamilya man o Kapuso, basta inirepresent ang bansa natin at may awards, dapat lang na ipagmalaki niyo. Nakakahiya yung ibang immature comments dito.
