Why FHM Picks Kapuso Stars as their ‘Sexiest’

I was provoked with this thought: Why does FHM’s Sexiest Woman always come from the Kapuso network. When Angel Locsin was hailed as the Philippines’ finest, she was still a kapuso star at that time.
Philippines’ Finest Since 2003:
2003 – Diana Zubiri
2004 – Cindy Kurleto
2005 – Angel Locsin
2006 – Katrina Halili
2007 – Katrina Halili
2008 – Marian Rivera
FHM is not owned in any way by GMA Network and i can’t find any link between the two.
Whereas in Maxim Magazine, FHM’s no. 1 rival, their Sexiest Woman always come from the kapamilya network. Recently, they named Angel Locsin as this year’s hottest, their no. 1 sexiest woman in the country if you must. And Angel is a kapamilya star.
Last year, Maxim’s hottest was Angelica Panganiban. 2nd placer was Anne Curtis. 3rd placer was Roxanne Guinoo. And they are all kapamilya stars.
The answer with this one is clear. Maxim will (most likely) not pick a kapuso star as their sexiest because it is owned by ABS-CBN (the department is called ABS-CBN Publishing). Although Maxim’s tally was based on 50% editor and staff’s choice and 50% people’s votes, THE 50% can overrule the voice of the people. FHM’s tally was based on 100% people’s votes by the way.
But i’m not saying that Maxim is exclusive only for kapamilya stars. They also features kapuso stars as well. Remember Jennylyn Mercado as their covergirl last January 2007?
So the title “Why FHM Picks Kapuso Stars” is irrelevant because FHM has no say in the tally as they claim that their “sexiest” ranking was based soley on people’s votes (online and text). And that the network war has nothing to do with it.

kung ayaw nyo kay marian,
ano bang problema nyo?
mamamatay ba kayo pag si marian ang nagcover at hindi si angel o kung sino pa man??
pag si angel ba ang nagcover, magiging milyonaryo kayo?
pag nalaman ba natin kung kapuso/kapamilya stars ang mas magaling, giginhawa ba ang buhay nyo?

almost sister companies na ang gma at summit media (publisher of fhm, etc.).. since walang sariling publishing company ng magazines ang gma, ito na ang media partner ng summit/ fhm. kaya ayun, pro-kapuso sila. hmmm.. ung pep, for example, ay joint project ng gma at summit.

c’mon! desperate naman tlga ang gma to be no.1 hence they do everything.
those claims from people na namimigay ang gma ng grocery & pera para panoorin ang channel nila? tingnan nyo na lang sa timogforum. merong mga ilang tao don na actual na in-offer an.
Im sorry mga kapuso, alam kong inilalagay nyo sa pedestal ang gusto nyong network,pero wag kaying maging bulag.

sayang ang oras ko sa pag vovote online para kay Angel para manalo sa poll kasi sya na nangunguna 2weeks before matapos ang poll, yong si malansang isda para ang ipapanalo ng FHM, kahit sa PEP d na rin me nagbibisita kasi obviuos paman pati poll doon meron dayaan, GME talaga d patas ang laban

Maganda si Marian Rivera pero ang sabihing mas sexy siya kay Angel and Katrina, well that’s a very big lie, for sure todox2 ang paggastos ng GMA magno.1 lang ang favorite female star nilang si Marian, di naman graceful magsayaw si Marian… Isa lang siyang panakip butas, kung di umalis si Angel sa GMA di naman siya sisikat ng ganyan.. KAwawa naman siya isang panakip butas!!!!!!!

FHM is under SUMIIT Publishing FYI.. GMA has partnership with SUMMIT…. FYI.. Susme..
