TV Ratings: Ako Si Kimsamsoon Debuts at No. 3

The second koreanovela adaptation in the Philippines, "Ako Si Kim Samsoon", starring Songbird Regine Velasquez and Mark Anthony Fernandez scored 33.8 percent on its pilot episode last Monday which is good for third place in the overall race.


It went head to head with the first koreanovela adaptation, My Girl, starring Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu. The ABS-CBN adaptation finished 8th with 22.6 percent.

In the daytime race, newest soap Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan topped the daytime race again after beating perennial leaders Eat Bulaga, Daisy Siete and Magdusa Ka last Friday. It’s the no. 1 daytime program for the second time in a row.

Here are the comparative TV ratings of ABS-CBN and GMA-7 shows on June 30 based on the overnight ratings conducted by AGB Nielsen Philippines among Mega Manila households:
