Ely Buendia’s Band ‘Pupil’ Wins Best Music Video in 2008 Promax Awards

An animated music video featuring Filipino band Pupil (Ely Buendia’s newly formed band after Eraserheads) won gold and was hailed as the Best Music Video in 2008 Promax/BDA Awards held in New York City.
In the music video, Pupil performed Animax Asia’s theme song, “Set Me Apart,” which celebrate youth and individuality.
Pupil is composed of Ely Buendia, Yan Yuzon, Dok Sergio, and Bogs Jugo.

catwalk:a narrow, elevated walk or platform, as one along the edge of a bridge or over the engine room of a ship- mga tang apal kayo eh. yung Catwalk ung mismung flatform. mga inutil. korek korek kayo jan. tanga namn pala. dapat sana she did a great performance on the catwalk.

wow galing!!! hanep ang video pang-award talaga.. actually this is the 2nd music video award for ely, the first was for ang huling el bimbo video (along with his former band eraserheads)which won the best asian music video sa new york pa yata yun hineld. and take note, it was the philippines that won the award kasi noon sa walan pang mtv asia music awards, mas okay noon labanan ng best mtv sa buong asia, not like now na ang best mtv sa kanya-kanyang bansa ang naglalaban.
