Erik is now learning some Chinese in order to introduce his song to the Chinese people.
In related news, the government of China warned foreign performers and entertainers against harming the country’s sovereignty or ethnic unity, a sign of increasing nervousness over live performances weeks before the Olympic Games.
This rooted from an incident last March after Icelandic singer Bjork shouted “Tibet! Tibet!” at the end of her concert in Shanghai.
