Ogie and Regine to Produce an Album for Robby Navarro of Pinoy Idol

Pinoy Idol lost a big chunk of its remaining supporters when its most promising contestant, Robby Navarro, was voted off in the Top 10 results show. But Robby is bound to shine. The dynamic duo of the music industry, Ogie and Regine, are planning to produce an album for him.
At the presscon of his upcoming “20/20″ concert, Ogie Alcasid revealed that he and girlfriend Regine Velasquez are contemplating of producing an album for the eliminated Pinoy Idol hopeful Robby Navarro under their iMusic label.
“Pinag-iisipan namin. Sayang kasi kung hindi siya magkaka-album, magaling siyang singer,” according to Ogie who is also a judge in the GMA reality competition.
The singer-composer said Robby should have an album because of his vocal prowess. Ogie also admitted that he was so disappointed when Robby got eliminated early from the show and didn’t had the chance to stay longer in the competition.

Honestly, I don’t see what the big deal is about this guy. He is an “okay” singer at best. Nothing special, except looks.

Kung si Robby Lang ang i-market niyo parang di gaano malinaw. Unless it’s like a RnB pinoy. Ano mala Jay-R again? Wala ata market jan. Hmmm…
Robby and Penelope sounds solid. I just don’t know how you’ll market it. Maybe come up with a concept album. Idol’s greatest hits, showcasing American & British Idols popular songs plus inject Pinoy Idol pieces they both did. Introduce an Idol duet. Parang ganun.
At least may target market baga.

Wow. Sounds unfair for the FIRST PINOY IDOL. Wala pang winner, pero yung natalo na magkakaroon na ng album.

I don’t understand what the big deal is about Robby. Yes he is good pero there’s nothing unusual about his voice. His vocal acrobatics always sounds forced. Parang pinipilit lang mag-R&B.
I saw him on Sis the other day singing with Jay-R. Gosh, robby can’t even perform at pilit na pilit ang kulot sa song. Iba pa rin si Jay-R, naturally R&B and Soul talaga.
Sa Remaining finalists ng PI, I like JAYANN and KID CAMAYAkasi natural yung style nila. JAYANN hindi biritera pera naturally powerful yung voice at papasa sa pop-rock genre. KID’s got real talent he can pull off ballads and soul anytime. I am voting for the 1 kapampangans

KID Camaya’s performance was the best among the remaining finalists. He was simply exceptional and he shined when he sang Careless Whisper.
If the idol that you were rooting for already got eliminated, I urge you to vote for the one that can really sing. We have 5 choices and in my humble opinion KID simply outshone everyone earlier in their Greatest Idol Performance. Don’t make a choice that will later on gather regrets. It’s not too late to choose the truly deserving IDOL.
Choose Wisely…. VOTE for KID CAMAYA!
