‘A Very Special Love’ Hits P134 Million in 2 Weeks

The first movie tandem of John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo is on track to be the biggest movie of the year!
According to reports, “A Very Special Love” has raked in a whopping P134 million as of Monday, August 11, 2008. This means the romantic comedy already broke the record of Caregiver which earned P111 million in two weeks.
The movie is now running on its third week and positioned to break the record of the no. 1 movie of 2007, One More Chance, which was also directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. The John Lloyd-Bea Alonzo movie has a record of P152.79 million.
If the winning streak continues, “A Very Special Love” could break the record of Sukob in 2006 to be the highest-grossing pinoy movie of all time. The Kris Aquino-Claudine Barretto starrer registered a box-office gross of P186.41 Million.

i realy love it…sana may part 2…or may follow up movie sila….they were very natural in their acting……as if there’s no camera in front of them…everybody can relate to this movie ….im happy bcoz hindi siya heavy drama…unlike other movies….nkakasawa na din kasi…
pls.pls. lang po sana may follow up movie….
im proud of john llyod and sarah……kasi come to think of it…hindi sila ank ng mga sikat na artista yet nkagawa sila ng sarili nilang name…just because they were really good in acting…
unlike kc and richard they did the movie because of what they want to prove something out of their parents name…naman…wala naman talent….dinadaan sa muka…….we just don’t need good looking actors and actresses….the movie goers were looking for a real thing which is happening in the real world…..like this movie(very special love)…the people cannot relate if you are going to shoot the movie in the foreign land….we are not interested to know what’s in greece…..sana kung sa mikonos island pa yun diba…..?kaso hindi…..as if lahat ng manonood nun…mkakapunta ng greece diba…?…
well this movie(vsl) nkakarelate ang lahat ng pinoy na nood nito….why…simply becoz its simple….but ang laks ng impact…..even the lolos and the lolas they watched it….becoz they can relate…….they fell young and in love all over again……

This is a good movie, paglabas ko ng sinehan, sigaw ako ng sigaw, tinantakpan ko nalang mukha ko ng jacket na dala ko, panu mag isa lang ako na nood, wala ako kabatuhan ng kilig…. paglabas ko text ko kagad friend ko, sabi ko tama sya, good movie, good acting, galing. I actually am a fan of sarah, galing nya…..
