Bb. Pilipinas-World Janina San Miguel Quits, Danielle Castano Takes Over

The controversial beauty queen Janina San Miguel backs out from Miss World 2008 pageant.
This year’s Bb. Pilipinas-World Janina San Miguel has decided to quit because of the sudden death of her grandfather. She was supposed to be the Philippine representative to the upcoming Miss World Beauty Pageant to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 14.
Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) issued an official statement Monday night as follows:
“The untimely demise of her grandfather, among other personal reasons, has caused her undue stress, thus hindering her from fulfilling her duties for the said title… BPCI wishes to express its gratitude to Ms. San Miguel for this act of graciousness and concern for the country. They also wish her well in her future endeavors.”
This year’s crowd favorite Danielle Castano, who happened to be first runner-up, will take over Janina’s duties as Bb. Pilipinas-World. Pageant enthusiasts were disappointed earlier this year when Danielle was not crowned as one of the three winners. But since she placed first runner-up, she will replace Janina as our representative in the upcoming Miss World pageant.
It’s interesting to note that 9 years ago, a similar thing happened. Mirriam Quiambao was only first runner-up at that time and became a replacement for the reigning Bb. Pilipinas Universe. From being first runner-up in Bb. Pilipinas, she ended up winning first runner-up in Miss Universe 1999. Will the same thing happen to Danielle? Or even win the very first Miss World crown for the country? Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

hay naku ano bang klaseng mga pinoy ang mga nag po post dito e wala namang kinalaman ang issue na ito sa pinag aawayan nila ,HOY mga bobo at boba mag basa nga kayo ng issue bago kayo mag post ng mga sentiments nio dito,napaka bobo nio at napaka utak ipis at di nio man lang maisip bago kayo mag post na malayo ang issue n Janina San Miguel sa sentimyento nio sa mga idolo niong network ,haleeeeerrrrrr kaya wala kayong mga asenso puro kayo dakdak na walang kwenta, anyway mabuti naman at nakonsensya ang babaeng ito na mag back out sa contest at di nia piniling pagtawanan ng buong mundo ang PIlipinas when she answer the question in MS World 08 sa South Africa.Alam naman niyang ang contest ay beauty and brain e ,dito nga sa sariling bayan kinutya ang klase ng pagsagot niya sa international contest pa kaya,well mabuti kung merong interpreter ang delegate ng Phils sa mga contest e alam na alam ng mga judges na ag Phils ang delegate nakaka ag ingles ng maayos.Good luck sa pumalit na crowds favorite na si Danielle na humakot din ng maraming awards .AT take note inglisera ang 1st runner up na ito,sa nagsulat naman nito ay itatama ko lamang po na di 1st runner up si Mirriam Quiambao sa Bb Pilipinas kundi Bb Pilipinas World po siya ng manalo,ang 1st runner up po that time ay ang alaga ni Anabelle Rama na nasangkot sa gulo ni Erap ,Pelaez ang last namen na forgettable po ang first name Title po so Mirriam at di runner up ,sa Ms Universe lang po siya 1st runner up na ang nag win ay si Ms Botswan Mpule Kwelagobe.

correction.. miriam quiambao was not first runner up during her time, she actually was crowned bb. pilipinas-world but because the evntual winner of bb. pilipinas universe got disqualified, she was promoted for the title..

hay naku, in fairness to janina she is prity nman, and i think by representing the country may redeem her from those critics, bakit ba nilalait si janina in the first place she is filipino, and she should know how to speak filipino. bakit mga latin countires hindi rin naman lahat ng beauty quuens nila eh marunong mag english, as if her critics are perfect.. i may find her reason a bit shallow but i just wish her luck and to danielle, i think she is prity din naman. gudluck na lang sa kanya.. o wala bang maninira s kanya dahil mukhang di siya marunong magtagalog.. nyahaha

Sabi nung isa c marian daw ang ipadala! Bwahahaha! Ano gagawin nya dun? Lalangoy? Yah, she’s butifull sabi nga nya sa commercial nya db? But she’s not a beauty queen material! Wala pa nga syang 5′6 noh! At sa Q&A ahhh… ewan baka!!! But I’m sure wagi sya sa costume!
