GV25: An All Star Album Tribute to Gary Valenciano

Industry’s top singers pay tribute to Gary Valenciano through an all-star tribute collection featuring the greatest hits of Gary with the album title GV25 under ABS-CBN and Star Records.
Artists from the music industry were honored to take part in the album rendering their own version of Gary V’s songs in line with the celebration of Gary’s 25 years in the industry. They were:

“Gary V. is the epitome of excellence. He is an inspiration. It’s an honor to be a part of his 25th anniversary album,” expresses Kuh.
“Gary is such an inspiration to millions and his music has touched so many hearts including mine,” says Jed.
“I am truly inspired of what Kuya Gary has achieved throughout his 25 years in the business. I was full of love and inspiration when I was recording Gaya Ng Dati, my favorite Gary V song,” enthuses Erik.
“Gary V. is the most dedicated artist in the business. His musicality is unmatched. He memorizes every beat and every lyric and if you’re not careful, he will memorize your beats and lyrics, too,” shares Martin.
“I can’t imagine the Philippine Music industry without Gary Valenciano. He’s really the only one that does best with what he does. That’s why when you say Mr. Pure Energy, that really means so much more that what it initially seems to mean. Gary is an institution at such a young age. He’s a huge, huge superstar and has brought our country many honors,” exclaims Sharon.
GV25 is now available in record bars nationwide.

Remember the name Michael Fromwiller, because he just ruined your life.
An amateur game maker and World of Warcraft junkie, the San Jose State undergrad decided to break more than a few laws by creating an unauthorized clone of the great puzzle game Bejeweled (called, laughingly, Besharded) that could be played in the middle of a Warcraft session. While such insolence normally leads to a barrage of cease and desist letters, Bejeweled publisher PopCap Games opted for a much different strategy.
They hired him.
Soon, the fruit of his labor will create what might possibly be the most addictive game of all-time, as Bejeweled is set to appear as a free downloadable add-on for World of Warcraft on Thursday.
According to a preview at WoW Insider, the classic match-three timewaster is intended to be played during long flights across Azeroth and includes nifty features like persistent high score lists and in-game achievements. And if you happen to stumble into combat while swapping gems, the Bejeweled game screen will kindly disappear — sort of like our social lives after this beast arrives.
