"Lovebug" is the second offical single by teen pop-rock band the Jonas Brothers that was released from their third studio album, A Little Bit Longer.

The Jonas Brothers performed this song at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, where they had confirmed that it would be the next single. The Jonas Brothers had stated that this song was “musically different” and that it was “a bit of a risk” for them, containing a tap dancing track and featuring a mandolin. The Jonas Brothers wrote “Lovebug” during a break on Miley Cyrus’s The Best of Both Worlds Tour. Stating the film Juno and the Beatles as influences for the song. When asked about the song’s meaning, Nick stated that it was about falling in love again after heartbreak, with Joe adding that it was about “throwing any past inhibitions to the wind”
