Manny Pacquiao Wins Over Oscar dela Hoya Via TKO

Our very own Pambansang Kamao, Manny Pacquiao, is the new Golden Boy as he knocks out iconic boxer Oscar dela Hoya in the 8th round.

Pacquiao and dela Hoya started their bout tentative in their moves but the Golden Boy was visibly more tensed.

In the first round, Pacman was able to connect several punches to his opponent’s face to the delight of the Filipino crowd. Dela Hoya had some difficulty landing punches to the visibly quicker Filipino boxer.

The two boxers slowly went through the third round being cautious and saving energy but our Pambansang Kamao is keeping his aim at the Golden Boy’s face. At one point, Pacman landed a solid jab smack that made the crowd even more frenzier.

In the next rounds, Pacquiao landed more punches than De la Hoya, and one moment that he attacked the Golden Boy with rapid punches.

De La Hoya refused to come out of his corner after the eighth round, forcing referee Tony Weeks to declare Pacquiao the winner by TKO.
