The rumors are true! 23-year-old JC Tiuseco indeed won GMA's reality show Survivor Philippines.

During the live telecast Friday night, the basketball player from San Sebastian College received 5 jury votes against 3 for Rob Sy. 93% of the viewers’ text votes dubbed as “Boto ng Bayan” were also in favor of JC against 7% for Rob, who ended up as the runner-up.

As the first Pinoy Sole Survivor, JC Tiuseco took home the 3 million pesos cash prize (tax free). And of course, we can expect JC to grace other GMA shows in the coming days and perhaps the network will give him his own tv show.
