Bangs Garcia is Tanduay Calendar Girl for 2009

After Katrina Halili and Ehra Madrigal, another kapuso star is going to be Tanduay Rhum’s Calendar Girl. She’s Bangs Garcia and yes, she is transferring to GMA this 2009!
Valerie “Bangs” Garcia, born May 26, 1987, was discovered in Davao via the reality show “Campus Crush.” Her first appearance on national tv was on the ABS-CBN reality show “Close Up to Fame” where she was one of the runners-up.
She joined Star Magic and eventually appeared on various kapamilya shows like Gokada Go, Let’s Go and Palos not to mention some guestings in Wowowee, Pilipinas Game KNB? and Maalaala Mo Kaya. She will be seen next in the Judy Ann Santos teleserye “Humingi Ako sa Langit.”
Last November 2008, Bangs graced the cover of Maxim Magazine.
Since her contract on ABS-CBN Network has already expired, she, together with her manager, has no plan to renew it. In Early 2009 she plans to sign an exclusive contract with GMA Network. But it depends, of course, if Star Magic is not going to stop her and offer her better projects in the future.
