ABS-CBN climbs the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Top 200 Corporations, GMA slips
ABS-CBN jumped to the 43rd slot in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s 2007 list of top 200 corporations from the 68th place in the previous year.
The firm’s ranking improved its net profit in 2007 jumped by an annualized 71 percent.
The company – which has interests in radio, cable television, movie production and publishing – had a net profit of P1.27 billion and total sales of P19.89 billion in 2007.
In contrast, its chief rival GMA Network Inc. slipped to the 93rd place from 77th in 2006.
According to a report by the regulator, other Lopez companies also improved their ranking.
Power distributor Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) is now the Philippines’ second largest company, next to Petron Corp., which got the top slot. Meralco ranked third in 2006.
Energy investment firm First Philippine Holdings Corp. was steady on the 16th place while conglomerate Benpres Holdings Corp. rose to the 42nd place from 50th in 2006. ABS-CBN is a unit of Benpres.
This concludes that experts in corporate operations favor the performance of the Kapamilya Network.

aaminin ko na bitter ako sa buhay ko.kasalanan ko ba kung pinanganak akong bobo at panget.atleast di ako plastic, di ko tinatago pagiging bakla at kacheapan ko.
pagpasensyahan nyo na ko, kasi dito lang ako sa internet bumabawi yung pwede akong maging matalino, kita nyo naman galing ko magcompute ng utang ng abs. sanay kasi ako sa bumbay.
atleast dito, mapapansin ako ng mga boys kasi kita nyo naman dami ko magpost.oha!carry lang miski paulit ulit ang copy paste ko, di bale nang walang sense at out of topic, as long as napansin ako!ganyan ang turo samin ni sis Marian. sabi kasi ni mader Wilma kahit negative, bad publicity is still a publicity.
kaya sis abs-liar na devil pa, sige lang post ka lang din ng wala sense. para naman may bonus tayo, dami ko na pass sa bumbay e, si badingdong kasi lakas manghuthot ng pambili ng briefs. sulit naman kasi un lagi suot nya sa lahat ng photoshoot nya.
Sige gayahin nyo lang ako, kahit murahin nyo pa ako. Inggit lang kayo kasi di nyo kaya talunin ang dami ng post ko. Im sure di kayo tatagal ng 24 hours na nakababad dito katulad ko. galing ko talaga!o di lahat kayo napansin ako. hay!sarap maging tao. dito ko lang nararanasan to.
I hate starmo kasi di lagi complete ang lists nila. Manay starmo, may kulang pa sa People’s Choice Awards. Di mo sinama awards from Kapuso.Che!
