    1. ABS- CBN BROADCASTING NETWORK COMMERCIAL RATE IS HIGHER THAN ITS COMPETITOR GMA NETWORK
    Source: UAE Today
According to Philippine Advertisers Association, the noontime block rate of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Network is costing 120, 000 Pesos per 10 seconds commercial load while GMA Network only rate 80, 000 Pesos per 10 seconds commercial.
The Primetime of ABS-CBN commercial block is worth 160,000 Pesos per 10 seconds while GMA is 120, 000 Pesos.
So, ABS-CBN is expensive than GMA because of its quality shows and at present advertisers do not rely on ratings because of some uncertainty of credibilty conducted by survey company.
The advertisers in the Philippines spent billion of pesos through print ad, radio and television.
2.`TFC SOARS HIGH IN ADVERTISING RATE IN MIDDLE EAST CLIENTS, PINOY TV HAS NOT REACH ITS POPULARITY AMONG FILIPINOS MIDDLE EAST.
    Source: UAE Today
ACCORDING TO OUR SOURCE THAT THE FILIPINO CHANNEL RELEASED ITS COMMERCIAL RATE FOR PRIMETIME BLOCK FOR MIDDLE EAST ADVERTISERS FOR EVERY 10 SECONDS COMMERCIAL ITS WORTH 5,000 UAE DIRHAMS AND OTHER DAYTIME BLOCK IS WORTH 2000 UAE DIRHAMS PER 10 SEC REEL.
WHILE ON THE OTHER HAND, TFC COMPETITOR PINOY TV IS NOT YET RELEASES ANY RATE FOR IT HAS LESS ADVERTISERS WANT TO PLUG IN PRODUCTS IN THEIR STATION SINCE 4 YEARS TIME.
ADVERTISERS IN MIDDLE EAST STRONGLY BELIEVE OF THE CAPABILITY OF TFC IN BRINGING OUT THEIR PRODUCTS TO THE VIEWERS IN LAST 14 YEARS.
TFC MIDDLE EAST HAS 400, 000 SUBSCRIBERS. TFC IS ABS-CBN INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATE.

MALAYBALAY CITY (MindaNews/18 Sep) – Not only the town of Impasug-ong but the rest of Bukidnon will reap both short and long term fruits for being chosen as a location for the movie of celebrities Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin, an official said.
Mayor Julia Okinlay told this reporter that the shooting has already brought tourists from nearby towns and provinces to the town and other places of interest in Bukidnon.
She said ABS-CBN’s movie outfit paid local taxes and brought in seasonal employment to many residents who worked in the movies as doubles, extras and other talents.
She said the celebrity guests brought tourists to the town, which also boosted commerce to a certain extent.
But Okinlay said tourism is the biggest beneficiary since Impasug-ong and the rest of Bukidnon would become a byword for “cowboy setting” in the country.
She said the movie would bring the world’s attention to Bukidnon’s finest cowboys and ranches.
She said this is in line with the town’s claim to fame as “Home of the country’s finest cowboys.”
She said the movie, with the working title “The Land Down Under,” is dubbed as the only Philippine movie about cowboys.
She also cited that Impasug-ong is home to the Philippines only communal or government-owned ranch. She said the town is also host to a 200-member horsemen’s association.
Okinlay’s husband, Mario, the town’s former mayor, is now Bukidnon’s sports coordinator.
Okinlay said the movie’s cast and crew arrived last Aug. 28 and has been shooting since then. She said their arrival, along with other movie stars, also boosted the celebration of the town’s 131st Aldaw ta Impasug-ong also known as Kalalagan Festival from Sept. 4 to 30.
Impasug-ong is a first class municipality in the northeastern part of Bukidnon. It has an annual internal revenue allotment of P102 million, Okinlay said.
The film was also shot in Dalwangan Village in Malaybalay City. The cast stayed in a local hotel here.
The shooting of the Angel-Piolo movie was earlier reported to last for 28 days in the province. After Bukidnon, the cast and crew will fly to Darwin, Australia to shoot the rest of the movie for the same number of days.
Reports said Piolo and Angel have been training in horseback-riding under the guidance of couturier Vic Barba and Mikee Cojuangco in preparation for their roles as cowboy/cowgirl.
The movie, directed by Rory Quintos, was scheduled to hit the theaters in January. (Walter I. Balane / MindaNews)
