The country’s pride and international singing sensation Charice is currently flying to Washington D.C. to perform at US President-elect Barack Obama’s inaugural on January 20, 2008.
At the pre-inaugural party on January 18, Charice is going to perform two songs – “God Bless America” and Whitney Houston’s Olympic hymn “One Moment in Time.” Charice said the songs were chosen by Obama’s staff.
It’s not yet confirmed though, if Charice will also sing at the actual inaugural party on January 20, but nevertheless, she feels honored to sing for Obama.
When asked what she’s going to say if she get the chance to speak with US president, Charice replied: “Just wanna say thank you for making this dream come true. This is not only an honor for me, but also for the Philippines. Thank you.”
Charice is currently working on her very first international album to be produced by renowned star maker David Foster. According to reports, Charice’s manager is none other than Oprah Winfrey.

People the TOPIC is about CHARICE PEMPENGCO.
Anyways we have been FOOLED by MEDIA again, yes it is true that Charice did sang in a pre-inaugural ball for Obama. But….
It isn’t the only pre-inaugural ball for Obama, there were also balls held by different races, etc. For example, the American-Latin also had their pre-inaugural ball for Obama.
The news was exaggerated but I guess we still have to be proud of Charice.
But it doesn’t mean we have to be to HYPED about it.
Charice is no Miley Cyrus.
She is no Demi Lovato.
She is no Vanessa Hudgens.
She is an International Sensation but she isn’t that big as a Star.
We just have to wait and hope that she will reach her endeavors and not to be consumed by it.
