Paolo Contis will host the new kapuso game show "My Dad is Better than Your Dad" on February 8, 2009 replacing Family Feud: Celebrity Edition.

My Dad is better than Your Dad is originally a reality game show from the United States. It debuted on American TV last February 18, 2008 and it’s a hit in the ratings. The game show came from the folks who created Survivor and Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?

The Philippines will now have it’s local version of the game show, the first in Asia, via GMA 7 to be hosted by Paolo Contis.

“My Dad is Better than Your Dad” is an indoor challenge game played by a Dad and a son/daughter against other same pair. Each episode will feature four teams competing against each other in a series of fun and engaging challenges. The various challenges include: Human Dart Board, The Spinning Discs, Snake Bobbing, Alphabet Soup, Happy Hour, Uphill Battle, Empty Nest, Target Practice, Quiz Round, Scorpion King, Paper Boy Shoot-Out, Arachnophobia, Stinger and for the final team –the “Money” round.
