Hosts of Showbiz Central Defend Vicki Belo

In the “Opinion Central” segment of Showbiz Central last Sunday afternoon, the hosts of the kapuso talk show Pia Guiano, John Lapuz, Raymond Gutierrez and Mo Twister defended Vicki Belo regarding her infamous statement last week that insulted her rival’s endorser Boy Abunda.
Here is the excerpt of the transcript from “Opinion Central” yesterday:
Raymond Gutierrez (Belo endorser): “I think it only becomes negative if you put negativity behind it becaue if you think about it, if you drive along EDSA, makikita mo ang image ni Boy Abunda under the Calayan name and makikita mo ang image ni Dingdong Dantes and Piolo Pascual under the Belo name.”
Pia Guianio (Calayan endorser): “Kung may malisya ang pagkaintindi mo sa kanya pwede siyang maging negative. But if you take it as Vicki said it, it’s all about who you see as the endorsers in the billboards…ang pagiging endorser is not all about being the most gorgeous, the most beautiful, the sexiest. Ang pagiging endorser po has everything to do with the fact na credible ka na mag-endorso at magsabi na ang produktong ito ay maganda at magaling. For me, i know he’s our competitor, but i think that Boy Abunda whether you like it or not is a pretty credible person. So if he is a Calayan endorser he could be saying that Calayan is good, Calayan is safe, Calayan is dependable.
Mo Twister (Vicki’s friend): Yung sinabi ni Vicki naman wasn’t a direct insult. It was funny. Kaya ako tumatawa nung narinig ko dahil i knew at the very moment she said it that will be an iconic line for a long long time. this is gonna be a line that a lot of people will remember. I think that’s why Boy Abunda is so angry and not just angry, but really over-reacting to the line. Boy you are over-reacting too much. The crying, it wasn’t a direct insult. Dapat paninidigan mo ang pagiging endorser ng Calayan…
John Lapuz (Calayan endorser): Nakikisimpatiya ako kay Kuya Boy sa intrigang ito. Nakarelate ako and i was deeply touched about it because the same thing happened to me last Tuesday…

ok, there you go, tanggap mo namang biased ka e.. so yun na yon..
pero, marami na ngang nagsasabi na nakapanood ng mga interview ni Boy na minsan ay unfair sa iniinterview nya o bastos pa nga ang dating..
i can point out the karylle interview and even the aleck bovick interview from years ago.
pero, kung gusto mong paniwalaan na may puso si boy magtanong, ok lang, desisyon mo yan.

maraming beses na ako nakapanuod ng mga shows ni boy abunda..at ni isang bad words about kay vicki wla syang sinabi…talagang nakakasakit ung sinabi ni vicki…bias nga ung ibang host ng shobiz central…

HOy gravictrix whatever…I don’t think you do watch any of Boy Abunda’s interviews. He is actually very credible, matured, and knows how to handle sensitive issues. He is very intelligent and is emphatic as I should say. Sira ulo na lang ang magsambing bastos sya. Ang mga taga 7, gosh…ang tatangang magtanong…look at Pia Guanio…oo she’s smart but can never be a good showbiz talk show host. Wlang sense magtanong. So please wake up and accept the fact that Boy is good and that Kapuso host are so tanga!

hoy rima huh!basahin mo nga muna yun rxn ko bago ka mag react kc un nababasa mo rxn un ni non kapamilya/non kapuso un sakin un tinatanung ko cya kung san ba cya nabastusan sa mga interview ni boy kc cya nag sabi na bastos daw c boy kaya wag ka nga muna dyan mang away kung d ka naman sure kung alin ang nabasa mo nasakin.ok i love kapamilya shows & i do always watch their shows kaya d tayo dapat mag away ok.peace!

Alam ba ninyo na ang regular host ng Showbiz Central na si Mo Twister ay may regular show din sa ANC na sister station ng Channel 2? Ang title ng show ni Mo Twister ay IMO (In My Opinion)
Kaya sa mga Kapuso at Kapamilya..dapat sigurong itigil na natin ang network na war ito bagkus ay magmahalan na tayo..
sabi nga ni Francis M. “Ang Magka-Away Ipagbati”. Kaya magtulungan na lang tayo at iwasan na ang pintasan sa isa’t isa.
Kapamilya at Kapuso let us join hands and move on for the country…

Di ko talaga ma gets ito. Wala namang masama sa sinabi ni Vicki. Boy is officially an IMGAGE MODEL for Calayan just like Piolo and Dingdong is for Belo. So ano ang mali kung gagamitin ni Vicki ang pangalan ni Boy for Calayan? Bakit minamasama ng iba dyan? Alam nyo ba ang ibig sabihin ng pagiging IMAGE MODEL? Your face REPRESENTS the product that you are an image model of. So tama at relevant ang sinabi ni Vicki. Ngayon kung may problema si Boy, eh sya ang tanga for consenting to be an image model for Calayan at magrereklamo sya kung gagamitin syang example.

On my god…. just to add if you watch the content of the vidoe, that it was an insult actually… Belo said:”Kung gusto mo magting kamukha ni Boy go to calayan, but if you want dingdong and piolo pascual go to Belo”… Do you think there is no meaning for that? Common, i know they are ging their opinions and they stand for it bec it was happen to their program, then therefore as host you should stand for it…………You know what if you were owner and beautician you should not do that, it is discounting the endorser of other company.. It show you’re attitude that you are not a good competitor in the business were you belong…!!!!!
Proud ako kay boy, bec he dont say’s againt belo…..
