Maxim Philippines Turns Gay with Mocha on the Cover

March 31, 2009 by cd

The first “Gay and Lesbian” issue of Maxim Philippines has the most controversial cover in any men’s magazine ever published in the country!

Maxim Philippines shakes up the men’s magazine’s genre this April with uber-sexy singer Mocha on the cover. Mocha, a self-confessed bisexual and the front woman of the girl group “Mocha Girls”, posed on the cover of Maxim together with back-up singer Hershey depicting a lesbian gesture that will surely titillate the magazine’s predominant male readers.

Also featured in the Gay and Lesbian issue of Maxim Philippines is an article called “Gays Night Out” in which tv host Boy Abunda and four other prominent gay celebrities hold a roundtable discussion of fay issues.

And the Gay and Lesbian issue will not be complete without the artist formerly known as Rustom Padilla. The Curious Case of Binibini Gandanghari chronicles the transformation of the country’s most popular transgendered person.

Maxim Philippines April 2009 issue is now available wherever magazines are sold.
