Primetime TV star Heart Evangelista is on the cover of the 2nd issue of Women’s Health Philippines.
Love Marie Payawal Ongpauco in real life, Heart is leaving the primetime block by starring in a GMA soap Sine Novela Presents “Ngayon at Kailanman” opposite JC de Vera.
The afternoon soap sparked a controversy between Heart and her mother studio because she refused to leave the primetime block and going into daytime seemed like a demotion on her part. But the GMA management stressed that there is no provision in her talent contract that her projects should always be in the primetime block.
After a series word-war and now a court battle between her manager Annabelle Rama and GMA SVP for Entertainment TV Wilma Galvante, Heart Evangelista, and even JC De Vera, finally accepted the role.
