No Surprise is the lead single off the sophomore album of quintuple platinum band "Daughtry" whose frontman is American Idol alum Chris Daughtry.

No Surprise were co-written by Chris Daughtry and Chad Kroeger, the lead singer from Nickelback. It is the lead single of the band’s sophomore album, which is not yet titled, schedule for release July 14, 2009 on Recordings/RCA.

Aside from Chris, the band Daughtry is comprised of Josh Paul, Joey Barnes, Brian Craddock and Josh Steely. The multi-platinum Daughtry self-titled debut album was the best selling album of 2007 with sales of more than 4,422,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Ryan Seacrest just awarded Chris Daughtry a commemorative plaque for selling 5 million units during the Top 4 results show of American Idol Wednesday night.
