David Cook and David Archuleta Rock the Philippines

An estimated 100,000 fans from all over the country, 50,000 seated, trooped the concert grounds of SM Mall of Asia for the back-to-back concert of American Idol season 7 winner and runner-up David Cook and David Archuleta.

The one-night-only concert in Manila and the first time the two Davids performed on one stage since the American Idol season 7 finale one year ago, not only brought the jampacked arena down but it also brought traffic around the Mall of Asia in Pasay – before and after the show.

David Cook sang songs from his album like Kiss on the Neck, Mr. Sensitive, Come Back To Me, Avalanche, Straight Ahead, Light On, Life on the Moon, Bar-Ba-Sol and A Daily Anthem, as well as his versions of The World I Know, Heroes, and his chart-topping cover of Mariah Carey‘s Always Be My Baby.

David Archuleta, on the other hand, performed songs from his self-titled album like Crush, A Little Too Not Over You, Touch My Hand, Angel, Waiting for Yesterday, Don’t Let Go, To Be With You, Your Eyes Don’t Lie, My Hands, You Can, Zero Gravity, and Barriers as well as Stand By Me and A Thousand Miles.
