Charice Performs 1st US Single ‘A Note to God’ on Oprah

Charice officially launched her first international single “A Note to God” on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
The powerhouse young vocalist has a powerhouse team for her debut album which include Grammy award-winning Diane Warren (writer of monster hits like I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, Unbreak My Heart, Because You Love Me and How Do I Live), the legendary David Foster (album producer of Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, etc.) and the most influential woman Oprah Winfrey.
On the May 18 (Monday) episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show, Charice perfomred her first US single entitled “A Note to God.” She was teary eyed as she belted out the last part of the song amid cheers and applause from the audience. It also brought Oprah to tears.
Charice was accompanied by an orchestra and a choir with David Foster playing on the piano. Some critics compared the performance to an American Idol finale where the audience are having goosebumps while listening to the song. Even before Charice hit the final note, the audience were already in standing ovation.
Oprah could only utter “wow” while Diane Warren described Charice’s performance as “amazing” and “beautiful.”
David Foster, on the other hand, said: “In my world, this only happens two to three times probably in my lifetime. And I work with a lot of people. So, this is one of those two to three moments… she just sings so beautifully.”

a note to GOD: paki sabi po kay charice na hindi maganda ang ginagawa niyang pag-a-abandona sa sarili niyang AMA!

Sa mga nagsasabi ng maliit lang ang increase ng ABS o flat and increase sa revenues eh nagkakamali po, dahil NEGATIVE ang increase ng kita ng abs cbn dahil LUGI sa skycable.
Percentage po ay hindi pinag-uusapan dahil hindi naman mapapambayad sa UTANG sa mga bangko na umabot na sa P19 billion . Ang tignan po ninyo eh ang maliit na dividend yield ng abs na 4.66 kumpara sa gma7 na 5.88.
Kaya nga yungt 50% increase ng GMA sobrang inggit po ng kapamilya, yung ang labas nun.
Eh kung 3% lang nga ang increase ng abs cbn, kulang na pambayad sa kanilang mga UTANG di po ba.
Ang GMA7 kasi ay nakapagtala ng P2.369 billion na income last year. Ang inilagay na income naman ng abs cbn ay 1 billion lang. NABUKING pa nga ang pandaraya at pagpaPADDING ng abs cbn ng P82 million sa income ng ABS.
Pero if you review the financial statement of abs cbn and supporting document, clearly, ABS CBN could have incurred more expenses if not for their severe cost CUTTING measures, and its P1 billion income could have been reduced to just a couple of millions.
Ang mga taong hindi nag-iisip lang ang nagpapadala sa mga praise releases ng ABS CBN!

aba, ang iba, may i write pa ng comment na utang [simply] means that the company is trusted that they can liquidate and reolved any financial issue they are on!
hellur, nabasa mo ba ang nangyari sa CHRYSLER na nabankrupt dahil sa laki ng UTANG! how about general motors, heading to bankruptcy as well dahil sa LAKI ng UTANG!
ang dos dausdos, ang laki laki ng utang at payables, nasa P19 billions na.
magkano lang ba ang kinita ng dos dausdos for the first 3 months of 2009, di ba P189 millions lang, unaudited pa baka mamya puro padding yan anoh!
whereas, GMA delivered a solid financial results (P2.369 billion net income in 2008) despite the prevailing economic environment. at konting konti lang ng utang anoh, almost debt free na nga eh.

Dapat hindi pinag-aagawan talaga si Charice ng mga Tv Station sa Pilipinas. Kung sino lang pwede mag Interview sa kanya (kahit ano pang Network) magpa Interview siya, para walang gulo-at-away!
Topic: 100x ko na ata napanood yang NTG sa O’show, nakakabisado ko na lyrics. Hehe! Talagang hindi nakakasawa panoorin Video’s ni Charice dahil din sa Emotions at Action(s) na ginagawa niya habang kumakanta. San ka nakakita niyan?! Oh diba kay Charice Performance lang!
