Hayden Kho Makes Public Apology for Sex Video Scandal with Katrina Halili

In a matter of hours, the sex video scandal of Hayden Kho and Katrina Halili, including another videos of Kho with Maricar Reyes and a Brazilian model, spread like wildfire. The controversial doctor finally breaks his silence and issued a statement regarding the biggest sex video scandal in the country ever.
Katrina Halili, with the help of GABRIELA and Sen. Bong Revilla, condemned Kho for the outbreak of the lewd sex video. The sexy star even summoned the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) for a possible revocation of Hayden Kho’s doctor’s license.
In this line, Hayden Kho released a short message via Showbiz News Ngayon Thursday night. Here is the part of his statement:
“I chose not to make any statement regarding the controversy over pirated video recordings…I sincerely apologize for the harm it has done to other parties.
I own up to my responsibility as a professional and I have decided to suspend my practice of medicine. I have been undergoing professional counseling since December.
At this stage, I realize I cannot expect understanding and forgiveness. I can only pray that this comes in due time.”

Ayon kay ICD Chairman Dr. Jesus Estanislao, layunin nilang pagtibayin ang pagbibigay ng importansya ng mga korporas-yon sa corporate governance dahil malaking bagay ito sa maayos na pagpapatakbo ng kumpanya.
Importante raw na bigyan ng halaga ng board ang mga tao o kumpanyang nag-i-invest sa korporasyon.
Dapat din daw maging tapat at bukas ang board sa kalagayan ng orga-nisasyon at sa mga plano nila rito.
Matagumpay na nagawa ang mga ito ng Board of Directors ng ABS-CBN, sa pamumuno ni ABS-CBN Chairman at Chief Executive Officer Eugenio Lopez III.

Lopez to resign as Meralco chief; patriarch snipes at SMC

MANUEL Lopez, chairman of Manila Electric Co., will step down as chief executive after the company’s stockholders’ meeting on May 26, said his brother, Oscar Lopez, patriarch of the Lopez group.
Oscar Lopez said his brother, who has been Meralco chairman and chief executive since June 2001, might still retain the chairmanship for a year or two.
But other changes were expected with the entry of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co.
“My brother will continue maybe for a year or two, although he will step down as CEO sometime after the election,” Oscar Lopez said.
The Meralco board meeting will pave the way for the entry of PLDT chairman Manuel Pangilinan’s group.
In remarks yesterday, Oscar Lopez confirmed but played down the significance of San Miguel’s claim to control 43 percent of Meralco.
“[Do] they want to create trouble with that 43 percent?” he said.
“The problem with SMC is they’re going all over the place and you don’t know what they want to focus their attention on, whether it is Meralco or Petron.”
In a text message to Bloomberg yesterday, Ramon Ang said San Miguel would support Manuel Lopez at the May 26 meeting.
The Meralco board is now led by Manuel Lopez and Ang as vice chairman.
The other board members are Jose de Jesus who sits as president and chief operating officer, Eduardo Cojuangco Jr., Aurora Calderon, Jesus Francisco, Estelito Mendoza, Christian Monsod, Cesar Virata, and independent directors Artemio Panganiban and Vicente Panlilio.
The older Lopez said they had not decided to sell their remaining 13 percent in Meralco. The PLDT group now holds 30.17 percent.
“It depends. We haven’t decided to sell it, ” he said.
“So far we intend to just keep it and be able to earn something from Meralco when the PBR [performance-based rate] is fully implemented.”
Meralco’s distribution rate will go up by P0.25 per kilowatt-hour following the Energy Regulatory Commission’s decision to approve its PBR application.
Lopez is also hoping that there will be no more fireworks during the stockholders’ meeting.
Last year’s stockholders’ meeting reached more than 12 hours due to the efforts of the state-run Government Service Insurance System to take over the company’s management.

Alam naman nating lahat na ang ABS-CBN ang tlagang undesputed number 1 channel sa Philippines. Sa Manila lang man yan sikat ang GMA. Even those kapusos here in Mindanao are surprised why GMA and its supporters misguidedly claim they are number 1. Actually ang labas pa nga ay nag-aambisyon sila. Well, hndi naman masama ang mangarap. Yes na lang. Sana wag na nilang lokohin ang sarili nila.
