‘Diversity’ Wins Britain’s Got Talent, Susan Boyle 2nd Place

Despite her immense popularity, heavy favorite and Youtube sensation Susan Boyle came in second to dance group Diversity in the 3rd season of Britain’s Got Talent Saturday night.
48-year-old Susan Boyle had been expected to win the 3rd season of the British reality talent competition. Her performance in April of “I Dreamed a Dream” catapulted her to international stardom.
She sang the same song in Saturday’s final but the public voted in favor of the dance group Diversity. Saxophonist Julian Smith was third.
The 10-member troupe from Essex, England and London receives 100,000 pounds ($160,000) and will perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen.
Prior to the finals, Boyle appeared on U.S. talk shows hosted by Oprah Winfrey and Larry King.

yeah i liked Susan to win, from the start i saw her on audition, i learned a lot from her, thats why im grateful for. but nevertheless diversity performance was amazing, they really deserved it, i love the transformer thing. hehehe. anyhow, my heart is with Ms. Susan Boyle still.. kudos Susan

GMA led the Mega Manila TV ratings last May 19, the Kapuso network said on Thursday to refute the report by Showbiz News Ngayon Thursday night that ABS-CBN is now no. 1 in the region.

Citing overnight TV ratings data from AGB Nielsen Philippines, GMA Network said it posted total day (6 a.m. to midnight) audience shares of 42.3 percent, 7.5 percentage points higher than ABS-CBN’s 34.8 percent.
GMA increased its lead on May 20 to 10 percentage points, as it posted total day audience shares of 41.7 percent versus ABS-CBN’s 31.7 percent.
Moreover, GMA Network said that it has maintained its Mega Manila TV ratings lead over its rival since the start of the year.
From January to May 20 (May 10 to 20 based on overnight ratings), GMA Network posted an average total day audience shares of 40.5 percent, 9.1 percentage points higher than ABS-CBN’s 31.4 percent.
ABS-CBN earlier sent text messages to advertisers and announced on-air via their late night showbiz news program Showbiz News Ngayon that they have recaptured the lead in Mega Manila TV ratings last May 19 based on data from TNS.
But the data from TNS cited by ABS-CBN was the complete opposite of the ratings data from AGB Nielsen Philippines, which clearly showed GMA posting higher TV ratings numbers than its rival.
AGB Nielsen is the more widely recognized industry supplier of TV ratings and other data in the country.
The international group began releasing official National Urban TV Audience Measurement (NUTAM) data in the Philippines in January 2007 with 1,650 home panels in Total Urban Philippines.
Its rival TNS started releasing official national data only in February 2009 with a smaller number of 1,250 home panels.

Hay naku mga KASUSO, sino niloko naman ng GME-7 pagdating sa stock trading?.. siyempre mga kangusong bobo!
If I know, majority ay binili ng kanilang stock underwriters.. After a month bibilhin ulit ng GME-7 KAPUSA para di lumaki ang public shares..
ang liit kc ng worth ng assets ng GME-7 broadcasting corporation.. 12 billion lang..
it is a very good prey for stock predators…kaya nag avail sila ng buy-back policy sa SEC!
ginagawa yan ng GME-7 kc para magmukang liquid at tradable ang kanilang cheap stocks..
nakakahiya kc kung wala pang isang buwan eh laglag na agad sila sa composite index..

i have never watched an episode of BGT but i can see that Diversity deserved their win.. everyone else who says otherwise are pure haters and very CLOSE-MINDED..
people,
stop saying that susan boyle is being underestimated because of her looks.. you are the ones OVERESTIMATING her BECAUSE of her looks.. if she was an average-looking woman, would she be given the same media hype that she has been receiving? of course not,, her talent is not overly special.. a whole lot of women (like broadway performers) sing as good, or even better, as her..
and stop saying Diversity has no real talent.. come on, can you even choreograph a dance as good and entertaining as theirs? can you even lead a group to execute that dance perfectly? can you even dance that good?
