‘Kambal sa Uma’ Beats ‘Ngayon at Kailanman’ Nationwide

June 11, 2009 by cd

Ngayon at Kailanman wasn’t able to maintain the winning streak of it’s preceding Sine Novela “Paano Ba ang Mangarap” in the nationwide tv ratings by Taylor Nelson Sofres.

Last Friday, the final episode of the Sine Novela starring Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras left a high note by beating its rival Kambal sa Uma as usual. On the other hand, Ngayon at Kailanman, the replacement for Paano Ba Ang Mangarap, is not strong enough for the ABS-CBN fantaserye.

The Heart Evangelista-JC de Vera starrer registered 16.6% compared to its rival’s 18.5%. Paano Ba Ang Mangarap usually get over 20% ratings nationwide beating Kambal sa Uma.

Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? is still the no. 1 daytime soap opera nationwide and last Monday, it garnered 21.3% while its rival Precious Hearts Romances Presents the Bud Brothers only got 17.1%.

The newest romantic comedy series of GMA entitled Adik Sa ‘Yo also had its debut last Monday. But just like Ngayon at Kailanman, the Dennis Trillo-Jolina Magdangal-Marvin Agustin starrer was beatean by its rival. It garnered a modest 20.4% nationwide while its rival Tayong Dalawa received 33.4%.
