Best Friends Forever (BFF) Earns P107.6M in 5 Weeks

Star Cinema’s Best Friends Forever (BFF), starring the Comedy Queen Ai Ai delas Alas and the Megastar Sharon Cuneta, raked in P107.6 million at the box-office in 5 weeks.
Based in a report by Box Office Mojo, Best Friend Forever did not reach the no. 1 spot compared to previously shown local movies earlier this year. It
debuted at no. 2 on its weekend opening of May 13 to 17, 2009 with P44 million haul at the local box-office. The no. 1 movie in the country that time was Angels and Demons.
On its second week, Best Friends Forever (BFF) almost doubled its first weekend gross as it hit P82 million. Angels and Demons still ruled local box-office at that time while Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian debuted at no. 2.
To date, BFF is the second biggest Pinoy movie of the year so far, and only one of the two movies that surpassed the P100 million bracket. The first was the romantic comedy You Changed My Life starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo.

LOWER than expected ang kinalabasan ng movie gross, grabe, sa laki ng gastos sa promo, kasama ang pamigay sa reporters at payola, with so much generous padding, ganun lang ang kinita ng BFF! bwa ha ha ha
but abs cbn has a more SERIOUS problem!
ang pinakamalaking network station sa pinas, PINATAOB ng tv 5, bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha!
grabe, hindi umubra ang papaya dance ng malaking tv station, BUTATA sa TV 5!

so far, KAMOTE award as in ZERO recognition award in this year’s Box Office Entertainment Awards. AT kahit sa sariling bakuran, yung Love Me Again was ranked KULELAT by the star cinema sa mga movies na shown this year, pinaka MABAHO ang kita sa takilya, bwa ha ha ha haha!!!

Kawawa naman pala mga nagcocomment dito, nagtatalo sa wala although it’s good to know that they really support the one they like. Pero mas kawawa mga supporters ng GMA, puro sila dipensa e mismong mga artista na nga ng SYETE ang nagsasabing hindi sila naniniwala sa ratings na yan dahil kayang kayang baguhin ni WILMA yan. Pati mga taga dos kawawa, wala silang ginagawa, they are just being humble, kaya yun natatalo sa pandaraya.
Anyway, nagsurvey samen ang mga taga AGB at TNS. May pagkakaiba ng konti, mas presentable ang mga taga TNS at hindi nagtatanung kung anong channel ang pinapanuod namen eh ang taga AGB naman, hindi nga sila nagtanong, pero todo endorse sila ng mga shows ng GMA. After that, hindi na ako naniniwala sa AGB kahit napakarame pa nilang clients.

GMA Network On Track To Hit PHP2.8 Billion Net Profit In ‘09

MANILA -(Dow Jones)- GMA Network Inc (GMA7.PH) is on track to achieve its net profit goal of PHP2.8 billion this year, the broadcast network’s chief financial officer said Thursday.
Felipe Yalung told an industry briefing hosted by the Philippine Stock Exchange that revenue generated from advertising placed on its radio and television programs continue to top PHP1 billion a month as companies raise ad spending while it narrows the national ratings gap with chief rival.
“The gap is now down to 0.2 (percentage) points in AGb,” Yalung said.
In 2008, GMA Network posted net profit of PHP2.37 billion. The company reported a net profit of PHP501 million in the first quarter, up 10% from a year earlier

i was really shocked to know na naka 86.5 million lang ang t2??? how come??? i think there’s something wrong kc marame nagsabi na mas kumita ito kaysa bff??? di man lang nahit ang 100 million mark??? dapat maglabas ng tutuong kita ang star cinema about sa kita ng t2….
