Only You grabbed the lead from May Bukas Pa last Friday, June 26, by virtue of its 36.5% nationwide rating according to Taylor Nelson Sofres. However, May Bukas Pa reclaimed the top spot last Monday, July 29.

Pinoy Bingo Night ended its run last Friday placing 9th in the primetime race with 19.7 percent rating. The Kris Aquino game show lasted for only 3 months since it premiered last March 30.

As expected, ABS-CBN once again dominated the tv ratings nationwide with almost all of its shows beating their rival kapuso programs.

With the exception of the Saturday’s morning block when GMA’s children and teen shows trumped its rival shows on ABS-CBN. These shows are:

Three Sunday night shows from GMA emerged victorious and these programs are (in bold):

Box-Office Entertainment Awards (ABS-CBN) 6.5%; One Glamorous Night (GMA-7) 9.1%

Urban Zone (ABS-CBN) 2%; GMA Weekend Report (GMA-7) 2.6%

Two new programs held their pilot episodes last Monday night. GMA’s “All My Life” premiered in the pre-primetime timeslot with 17.2 percent. It wasn’t able to beat its rival, Boys Over Flowers, which garnered 27.5 percent. ABS-CBN’s The Wedding, on the other hand, debuted in the late primetime timeslot with 22 percent beating the koreanovela Cruel Love which only got 13.2 percent.
