Jake Gyllenhaal Stars in Disney’s ‘Prince of Persia’
July 21, 2009 by cd
Jake Gyllenhaal stars in one of next year’s big summer movies, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which is produced by Walt Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer Films.
Disney has released the first set of movie posters for the said film, the one showing Jake as the Prince of Persia and the other showing the gorgeous Gemma Arterton, Jake’s leading lady.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is based on the massively popular series of videogames, the story sees Gyllenhaal as a ‘rogue prince’ Dastan and Gemma Arterton as ‘mysterious princess’ Tamina, who reluctantly team up to safeguard an ancient dagger that could release the Sands of Time, allowing its possessor to reverse time and rule the world.
Also starring in the movie are Ben Kingsley (Gandhi) and Alfred Molina (Spider Man 3) under the helm of Mike Newell, director of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Prince of Persia is coming to theaters on May 28, 2010.

it was also unfortunate na kasabay nito ang malalaking hollywood pictures na Transformers, Ice AGe at Harry Potter. Compared to the multi million budget of the above mentioned films, Villa Estrella made a good profit for Star Cinema.
