Miss Venezuela, Stefania Fernandez, wins Miss Universe 2009.
This is the second consecutive year that the South American country captured the Miss Universe crown.

WINNER:
Miss VENEZUELA
The crown stayed in South America. Europe, this year’s strongest continent in Miss Universe, lost again. Asia was snubbed.
