‘Kambal sa Uma’ Finale Hits No. 1, ‘Nagsimula sa Puso’ Starts Strong Nationwide

The afternoon fantaserye “Kambal sa Uma” ended its run last October 9 hitting 1st place in the daytime race nationwide. Taking the timeslot last Monday was the Maja Salvador starrer, “Nagsimula sa Puso,” which aired a strong pilot episode.

Kambal sa Uma registered a finale episode of 22% in the national tv ratings of TNS which is 3% higher from its viewership average. It’s interesting to note that Kambal sa Uma also topped the daytime race nationwide when it aired its pilot episode last April 20, 2009.

On the other hand, Nagsimula sa Puso, garnered 17.8% on its pilot episode sharing the 2nd place position with “Ang Lalaking Nagmahal sa Akin.” But if we are to compare “Nagsimula” to the pilot episode episode of “Uma”, the Shaina Magdayao-Melissa Ricks starrer had a stronger debut by virtue of its 25.8 percent that it garnered from the TNS nationwide survey.
