Dingdong Dantes is ‘Andong Agimat’

Dingdong Dantes will star in the big screen adaptation of the graphic novel “Ang Mundo ni Andong Agimat.”
“Ang Mundo ni Andong Agimat” is a popular graphic novel by prize-winning author/illustrator Arnold Arre. Tony Gloria of Unitel Pictures has bought the rights to adapt the comic character into television or the big screen.
The movie adaptation of the action-fantasy graphic novel will be directed by Mark Reyes for Viva Films, Unitel Pictures and GMA Films.
The original choice of Tony Gloria for the title role was Robin Padilla but the former kapuso star signed a movie deal with Star Cinema. Dingdong Dantes took the role afterwards.
Marian Rivera was supposed to be Dingdong’s leading lady in “Andong Agimat” but she begged off due to her busy schedules in Darna. Rhian Ramos, Dingdong’s leading lady in Stairway to Heaven, took the role.
Andong Agimat has an estimated budget of P50 million and targeted to be screened at the American Film Market, running from Oct. 31 to Nov. 7, 2010 in Santa Monica, California.

DINGDONG is really the hottest actor of this generation.
For this role Im sure the movie will rake great reviews now that it will be shown in the USA.
For sure, global awareness of the people because of the hot actor name Dingdong Dantes.

still,.hindi padfin ganun ka challenging roels for DD,..para mag pataas ng antas nya bilang actor,..o tawagin syang actor,.sikat at star lang sya e….nmore challenging roles dapat…sana man lang si HEART o taga 2 ang leadinng lady…si ANNE CURTIS o si BEA ALONSO diba??????para maiba,….

rhian is gud for dingdong in fact both of them possess professionalism and they have a very strong chemistry. in my old age now i find them cute in television esp in stairway and im an avid fan of them. my only wish for dingdong is he must truly find his true hapiness in life. for rhian i will be praying for you esp for your good health as well as your for family.

sayang… mas bagay sana si Bad Boy sa role na yan, i’m a fan of the graphic novel kaya i can say this… pero pwede na rin si Dingdong although medyo tagilid ng konti sa image nya (being a matinee idol portraying an ex-convict mercenary), ok n yun kesa naman kay Richard Gutierrez (na mas bulky yung katawan kesa kay Ando) na naman ibigay yung project or worse… kay JC Tiuseco (peace JC! no grudges against you, just your poor acting skills
)… and about the leading lady, parehong bagay kina Rhian and Marianne yung role being “pang-masa” type of actresses portraying Silang so kahit sino sa kanilang dalawa pwede…
