Lady Gaga, Beyonce & Black Eyed Peas Lead 2009 World Music Awards Nominees

Lady Gaga, the Black Eyed Peas and Beyonce lead the nominees for the forthcoming Monaco hosted 2009 World Music Awards.

Revealed as the first pack of nominees, in the Song of the Year category over the weekend, the three will face off against Kings of Leon (“Use Somebody”) and two songs from David Guetta.

Guetta, first seen in the Miss Universe pageant last summer, is nominated for “When Loves Takes Over” feat. Kelly Rowland and the Akon assisted “Sexy Chick”.

A full list of nominees and performers will be announced at a later date. The fans, however, can now vote for the Song of the Year award at World Music Award website HERE.

2009 World Music Awards ‘Song of the Year’ nominees are:

Beyonce – “Single Ladies”

Black Eyed Peas – “I Got A Feeling”

Lady Gaga – “Poker Face”

David Guetta ft. Kelly Rowland – “When Love Takes Over”

David Guetta ft. Akon – “Sexy Chick”

Kings of Leon – “Use Somebody”

This event will be held on November 3, 2009 at the Monte-Carlo Sporting Club in Monaco.
