All Eyes On Gerald Anderson’s MMK Episode

This Saturday in Maalaala Mo Kaya, Gerald Anderson is about to prove that he is the next big “actor” of the kapamilya network via his most dramatic role yet.
Being groomed to follow the footsteps of Piolo, Jericho and Diether, Gerald Anderson will be launched as a full-blown dramatic actor via his own Maalaala Mo Kaya episode.
Gerald will play the role of Jerome Concepcion, a patient afflicted with Tourette Syndrome struggling to live a normal life. Rio Locsin, on the other hand, will play the role of his mother, afflicted to see his son losing hope. The special episode is helmed by Ruel Bayani, the acclaimed director of Tayong Dalawa, which also starred Gerald Anderson.
Watch Gerald’s bid for a best actor in a single performance award on this Saturday’s episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya.

From the PBB pa lang sunubaybayan ko na ang pag -arte mo sa tv show, mayroon kang believed sa sarili mo kaya lang ang speak ng tagalog hindi pa mahusay, ngayon magaling ka ng managalog. Kaya Gerald Anderson ang masasabi ko lang sa’yo keep humble at saka napakabait mo sana marami pa ang ibigay na blessing ng lord sa’yo and sana makatulong ka kay Jerome na baka sakaling gumaling pa siya sa sakit niya kasi may napanood ako nag search sa intenet na ganyan ang sakit sa LONDON maybe you can talk to them and help Jerome for his situation ?

gerald’s acting still needs improvemnet.. parang laging galit if not flat. Jake cuenca, has tendency to overact. Coco martin is the better actor. but all three are good, a little more polishing, they will be in the same calibre as John Lloyd, Jericho and Piolo.

i beg to partly disagree with the above comment… he is definitely better than jake cuenca… well, coco martin is of course really good… but gerald is also good.

come on, coco won a best actor and tagged as indie prince…..stop comparing with Gerald! Compare coco with other actor winners like Piolo, Echo, Baron, Jason….and if you want, Dingdong and Aljur.

im not really a fan of jake cuenca i dont like OA actors.. but my point is they have a lot of time to hone their craft. gerald to say the least is still very new in the industry… he will still improve

well, i think that Gerald Anderson is a good actor.. maybe some people is distract with his “amboy” image. because accept it, he is totally handsome, he speaks good english… and his role here in mmk is different because this is his first time. but i think he is really good. i admire him for being what he is.

don’t compare coco with Gerald, grabe ang hasa ke coco sa Indie movies, Indie King , super pogi pa nga eh, grabe not like GERALD na medyo pa sweet pa ang mga roles, ngayon lang yata to sisibol, good work GE, more dramatic roles to come but I am missing your role as Julian, missing the whole cast of My Girl, tira2x, sana hit ang movie nyo ni Kim, we love u – Dubai
