GMA Atty. Gozon Receives Business Excellence Award from BizNews Asia

GMA Network Chairman, President and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon added another feather in his cap when he was recently named one of the 2009 Business Excellence Awardees by leading business magazine BizNews Asia (BNA).
Gozon, among the first to receive the said honor, was cited for his overall management excellence, after transforming GMA Network into the “largest television station in the country.” Gozon was responsible for increasing the Network’s net income by more than ten-fold since assuming office in late 2000.
The GMA Network CEO was also cited for “enriching the lives of Filipinos everywhere with innovative programming, quality entertainment, responsible delivery of news and information, and unfailing commitment to public service.”
The 2009 BNA Business Excellence Awards were given to companies “in recognition of the excellence of their products or service and business model.” President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, who was the guest of honor during the event, presented the award to Gozon and the other winners.
“GMA Network’s success as a company is the result of our continuing effort to live by our corporate mission, vision and core values. I am glad that our efforts to serve the public are being recognized by prestigious organizations here and abroad, including BizNews Asia,” Gozon said.

ai naku,, wawa naman ang mga kapusod fans,, pinagmamalaki ang mga bilang bilang na mga awards,,, haha,,, so funny,,,PINAGSAWAAN NA NG ABSCBN ANG LOCAL AT INTERNATIONAL AWRDS,,, papunta pa lng ang GMEEWW,, pabalik na ang ABS,,,kapal,,, na mga iba jan,,,, claiming for an excellent which is not so kilala,as if naman kung nakalahati ng GMEEWWW ang MGA AWARDS NG UNDISPUTED NO. 1 ABSCBN…,, duh…….
