Man Who Survived Shark Attack on ‘I Survived’

Tonight, a man who survived a shark attack will be featured on “I Survived.”
It was one tragic morning last April for swimming enthusiast Gerald Perez when he was attacked by a shark in a beach resort in Anilao, Batangas during a homecoming party. Never did he imagine that what he loved to do would lead him to his near death experience.
This Thursday (Dec 10) on “I Survived” with Ces Drilon, Perez will share how he managed to escape from danger and fought for his life from the waters to the hospital.
The 23-year old Batangueño has loved swimming ever since he was a child. But eight months ago, while enjoying the cold sea waters, he unintentionally bumped a shark, which then bit him on his right thigh and leg.
The shark pulled Gerald underwater but he struggled to fight for his life. He used all his strength to swim to the shore as fast as he could even after losing so much blood as his skin on his thigh was already ripped by the shark’s teeth. Witness his fearless battle with the shark and death when he tells the rest of his story of survival on “I Survived” this Thursday (Dec 10), right after “Bandila” only on ABS-CBN.
