TNS National TV Ratings (Dec. 8 to 10): Last Week of ‘Stairway to Heaven’ & ‘Lovers in Paris’

Two koreanovela remakes from rival networks aired their last Tuesday to Thursday episodes this week. Check out how they fared in the national survey of TNS.

GMA’s Stairway to Heaven and ABS-CBN’s Lovers in Paris were supposed to be airing under the same timeslots, however, the kapuso network swapped the schedules of Full House and Stairway last Monday due to the poor performance of the Richard Gutierrez-starrer.

Here are the ratings received by the two koreanovela remakes from Tuesday to Thursday:

Tuesday:
STH – 25%
LIP – 29.5%

Wednesday:
STH – 25.4%
LIP – 30.6%

Thursday:

STH – 26.6%
LIP – 31.5%

Both programs have increased their ratings as they head toward the finale episode on Friday, but of course, Lovers in Paris fared higher than Stairway to Heaven because TNS national survey is ABS-CBN’s turf.

walang credibility ang TNS kasi ang abs cbn lang ang subscriber nila kaya what can we expect kung di dayaan ang rating in favor of ABS CBN. Ang GMA shows sa primetime tambak ng commercials it means ito ang no.1

I wish GMA 7 would consider “reviving” the show of the late Helen Vela- LOVINGLY YOURS HELEN. But this time Ma’am Susan Roces would be the host.I like the background music. And if my memory serves me right, I was in the fifth grade when GMA aired its last episode. GOD bless GMA 7!!! I really really love to watch current affairs programs.

Lovers in Paris is the best, for the first time of KC having a teleserye , her acting maybe not that impressive , that’s natural bago lang sya no?! Pero whether GMA fanatics like it or not mataas ang rating ng LIP compare sa stairway ha,ha di ko nag alam kung sinong mga artista dyan kasi talagang di ako nanunuod ng GMA at bakit alam ng mga GMA fanatic dito ang ginagawa ni KC?, simple lang because, they too are watching it. Hay… naka relieve ng stress and LIP. Congats KC and Piolo!

This shall serve as the official source for TNS Philippines program ratings. The lists below shall be updated on a daily basis, from Monday to Friday, providing fresh information for the interested public. Monday updates shall include the top ranking programs for the preceding week, as well as top ranking programs for the previous Friday. Every end of the month, the list shall also include the top ranking programs for the whole month, including weekends.

As of August 6, 2009, we shall be including WHOLE DAY program rankings for MEGA MANILA, BALANCE LUZON, VISAYAS and MINDANAO Please take note that BALANCE LUZON represents NORTH, CENTRAL, and SOUTH LUZON and does NOT include Mega Manila. National program rankings will still be divided between daytime and primetime.

Ratings for a particular day will only be up for 24 hours, after which it will be replaced with the next day’s ratings.

Note that the daily program ratings are based on day-after ratings information and are subject to slight changes upon reprocessing for improved sample sizes and validation after every week.

For reference, unit used is household ratings. Daytime refers to shows that fall within the time band of 0500h to 1800h; primetime refers to shows within the 1801h to 2400h time band. In cases where a program breaches the borderline, it is considered to fall within the time band where the majority of the program minutes are located.
