Mega Manila is still GMA’s turf as Eat Bulaga! and Darna remain the leaders in daytime and primetime race, respectively. However, zooming in at no. 2 are Showtime (in daytime) and Pinoy Big Brother Double UP (in primetime).

this a credible rating kasi advertisers ang nagsusubscribe dito, you see napaka-fair ng rating nila unlike sa TNS na halatang they padded the rating in favor of ABS CBN kasi ito ang one and only subscriber nila. ang tanong magkano ang ibinayad ng ABS sa TNS?

napansin ko lang hindi ata naintindihan ng mga kapamilya ang ibig sabihin ng Mega Manila kasama po ang luzon dito at 75% viewership ang cover. Unlike sa TNS na sinasabing National rating pero visaya at mindanao lang at 25% lang ang viewership share

yung comment box sa TNS rating inactive , bakit kaya? siguro alam nila na it will attract violent reactions kasi halatang padded rating. Hindi na nila pwede lokohin ang viewers, ang abs cbn puwede pa, kasi ito ang nagbabayad sa subscription nila kaya kailangan nilang utuin

PBB double up hits mindanao.. lakas ng hatak dito… kahit nasa market ka or sa mall pinag uusapan yung melason…. something my karisma.. at sa whole pbb iba yung dating… nakakarelate yung mga tao sa mga ugali ng ibat ibang housemates… sa totoo lang di ko nakita yung start ng pbb.. nung sumakay ako sa bus from cagayan de oro to valencia city.. imbis matulog ako sa travell. ayun ang palabas ng tv sa bus pbb.. nagising ako bakit nag hiyawan yung mga tao… gising na gising tapos tawa ng tawa ayun pala ppb pinapanood…

Ratings do not matter for me. I have been a “kapamilya” viewer eversince but there was a time that I stayed in a place where people around me watched GMA. So I did the same way. To be honest, after a couple of months watching GMA’s shows, no one among the actors captured my attention. I watched Angel Locsin’s Darna before for the sake of following the story but never that I admired her acting prowess.But when she jumped to ABS-CBN network, I was amazed with her improvement. Damn! is that Angel Locsin? Why her acting was totally different when I saw her first “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode.
ABS-CBN shows are really worth to watch.I don’t understand with GMA’s ability to create new shows that would really measures their distinctivity. How many more Darna’s they are going to air? I won’t surprise that later, Heart Evangelista will portray Darna sooner or later. What’s with Joey de Leon? I have never liked him eversince. No matter how I tried to understand his personality, still I can’t attest how good he is. He is like a dead man talking nonsense thing.He is trying hard.I would advised him to act NATURALLY.

FYI lang po, Mega Manila is composed of 2 regions, Metro Manila, and Surburban, which includes, Laguna, Cavite, Bulacan, just to name a few town surrounding the metro. ABS-CBN is number 1 in the Metro and GMA-7 in Suburban. Combining the two regions, GMA 7 comes on top due to the wide suburban area coverage. But not the entire Luzon, for cryin’ out loud.

For me ratings is just plain numbers, i mean, it can give you ideas but it cant really tell which one is the number one and the best, dont let yourself be fool, you should be aware that, ratings are being conducted for advertisers, not for people to be judged…. QUESTION, Did ABSCBN widely aired the ratings before, when they were solely holding the throne? ….as Ive seen and studied the network war, Ive come up with a conclusion that GMA is DETERMINED to tear off ABSCBN, while ABSCBN is PASSIONATE for producing quality programs, in the service of the Filipino in deed, (thats the slogan of ABS even before) now what do you think is number 1 and which is the best? think of it.
