Apparently, the infamous celebrity blogger predicted that the next Hollywood star to bite the dust before the year ends is Clueless star Brittany Murphy.

Earlier this month, entertainment blogger Perez Hilton appeared on the morning radio show “AJ in the Morning.” Hilton was asked if there would be another celebrity death “headed in the same path” as Michael Jackson.

His response was “Brittany Murphy, maybe.”

32-year-old Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy was reported dead early Sunday (December 20) for full cardiac arrest following a 911 call from her husband, Simon Monjack. She was pronounced dead on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Murphy is perhaps best known for her role as “Tai” in the 1995 hit comedy Clueless starring Alicia Sylverstone.

She also starred in hit films like 8 Mile, Uptown Girls, Sin City, Don’t Say a Word, and voiced the part of Luanne Platter in the Fox animated series King of the Hill. She became a tabloid favorite for dating Ashton Kutcher during and after their film, Just Married.

According to reports, Murphy was said to have an eating disorder earlier in her career and that some believed it was tied to an alleged cocaine habit.

Perez Hilton hinted about this when he wrote on his blog:

Absolutely devastating. Especially because this comes as no surprise! We, and those who knew Brittany personally, saw this coming. That does not make this any less horrible.
