ABS-CBN Programs Dominate National TV Ratings for the Last Week of 2009

ABS-CBN ended the year 2009 with a bang by securing eight of the top 10 programs on December 30 and 31, 2009 based on the overnight tv ratings nationwide as conducted by Taylor Nelson Sofres.
Last Thursday, “May Bukas Pa” (25.8%) continued its dominance in the primetime race as reality program “Pinoy Big Brother” (25.7%) soared to second place.
“Dahil May Isang Ikaw,” “TV Patrol World” and “Wowowee” completed the top five programs. The three other Kapamilya programs that made it to the top 10 were “Katorse,” “Boys over Flowers One More Time,” and “Showtime.”
More Filipinos tuned in to ABS-CBN as they welcomed 2010 by watching “Salubong sa Bagong Simula: ABS-CBN Countdown to 2010″ (16.9%) against GMA’s “Prosperity in 2010″ (14.4%).
On Dec 30, eight ABS-CBN programs also landed in the top 10.

just a question to all of you GMA supporters, IF GMA IS REALLY NUMBER ONE THEN WHY HASN’T IT CONQUERED THE WHOLE PHILPPINES? come to think of it Mega Manila is just the capital city and so what… the population of Manila from other provinces is way larger but the ratings is about Nation wide ratings which means the WHOLE of the philippine archipelago and the ration of Manila population is no match from the population of the whole Philippines. Oh yeah! another thing if you say that GMA can’t conquer the whole Philippines because of reception problems well then it should be their problem. To be the best station you must serve the people with all you’ve got and don’t tell me GMA hasn’t leave any dividend to improve their reception that would mean net loss…. lawl!!!

honestly, im kapamilya thats why i love the shows of abs-cbn…In fact, their teleseryes were very fantastic and capture the hearts of filipino people unlike GMA7 they were just merely copying the shows of abs cbn…Therefore, they were not the no. 1 network ever…they just keep on dreaming that they became no. 1 which is far from reality!!!!Well, one thing that i can say to all kapuso fanatic, your such a looser!!!!!!to all kapuso sorry for striking you but this is wat i truly feel…peace!love u guyz….
