Janice de Belen Stars in Maalaala Mo Kaya this Saturday

Janice de Belen will appear again on ABS-CBN after more than 10 years in a dramatic episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya.

This Saturday, March 13, viewers will be able to watch the story of a mother who will try to reach out to her four sons. The drama anthology show of ABS-CBN has tapped former SiS host Janice de Belen to star in this dramatic episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya.

When asked if she plans to transfer to the Kapamilya Network, the GMA-7 TV host told reporters that there have been no formal talks yet regarding this matter.

However, she is open to the possibility of returning to ABS-CBN. Janice told ABS-CBN News, “I think okay lang ‘yon kasi mahirap ang buhay. Ang pag-aartista ay hindi stable job. Work is work. Kung pwedeng i-accept, why not?”

Janice used to star in teleseryes of ABS-CBN before she moved to GMA-7 to host the morning talk show SiS, which was recently replaced by the talent search Diz Iz It.

Viewers should also look forward to the performance of William Martinez in this drama anthology show.

Janice will portray the role of a young mom to several kids and with a dark, traumatic past that she wants to bury. Katrina (Janice de Belen) seeks livelihood in forms that are not acceptable to her children, for their survival and welfare. As she struggles through life, she finds hope for a better tomorrow.

Makisig Morales, Paul Salas, Aaron Junatas, among others will be seen in the March 13 episode of MMK. This episode is directed by Jerry Sineneng, with script written by Mark Angos.

MMK, hosted by Ms. Charo Santos-Concio, airs every Saturday night on ABS-CBN.
