Half-Filipina pop superstar Nicole Scherzinger talks about creating her own brand of hotness and loving her exotic pinoy roots in Cosmo’s April 2010 issue.
Scherzinger was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her biological father, Alfonso Valiente is Filipino, and her mother, Rosemary, is of Hawaiian and Russian descent. In an interview, the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls said “I’m Filipino-Russian-Hawaiian.”
Nicole is currently one of the celebrity contestants on the tenth season of Dancing with the Stars. She is partnered with Season 7 Champion Derek Hough. The season premiered last March 22, where Nicole is one of the early favorites to win the title.
