The first talakserye on Philippine TV is gaining more and more televiewers in the daytime block.

Face to Face, dubbed as the first talakserye on Philippine TV, is now getting higher ratings than GMA’s Diz is it. The program focuses on very real, everyday issues, where Amy Perez brings together two opposing parties in a forum that aims to resolve misunderstandings by providing advice from counselors and opinions from the audience.

It was said that Face to Face was inspired by the tabloid talk show in the US called “The Jerry Springer Show” and hosted, of course, by Jerry Springer. It’s also the first of its kind on Philippine television and it’s getting more attention as it receives rave reviews from pop culture experts.

Based from the latest survey of AGB Nielsen, Face to Face received a two-digit rating last Friday beating its rival Diz is it. Last Monday, it was neck-and-neck with the kapuso talent variety show but the talakserye rated higher:
