Kris Aquino is Leaving the Philippines?
But she is not leaving for good as expected by her detractors. It can be remembered that months ago, Kris made an emotional statement saying that he will leave the Philippines should his brother Noynoy Aquino win the presidential race. Now, Noynoy is assured of the victory and just waiting for the official announcement by the COMELEC but will Kris stay true to her statement?
NOT! Kris is leaving the country only for a vacation. She and her family will visit Tokyo Disneyland. She confirmed via SMS to Yes Magazine Editor-in-Chief Joann Maglipon that she will be leaving the country soon:
“Yes, I am leaving for a Disney vacation abroad w/ my kids but after Pilipinas Got Talent & my obligation to KTM [Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo] finishes. I will be gone for at least 3 weeks then to give my kids the vacation we postponed last year because of mom’s [the late Pres. Cory Aquino] deteriorating health. I will be back on SNN on Monday, May 17.”
