Jhyllianne Warde, the cute little girl who sings "mama said I have a very beautiful voice" in the Promil Preschool TV commercial, is set to star on GMA's "Trudis Liit."

GMA is doing a TV remake of the classic film Trudis Liit, based from one of the most popular graphic novels by Mars Ravelo (creator of Darna, Captain Barbell, etc.) with the same title, which Sampaguita Pictures produced in 1963 and launched the career of Vilma Santos. The Star for All Seasons won the very first Best Child Performer award from the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) for her performance in the said movie.

Trudis Liit will occupy the timeslot of Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak. The Dennis Trillo-Jennylyn Mercado Sine Novela will air its final episode on June 11. The Pauleen Luna-Maxene Magalona Sine Novela entitled “Bakit Kay Tagal ng Sandali?” was supposed to replace “Lusak” but GMA Management decided to temporarily shelf that project because of the unresolved conflict between Pauleen and Maxene (regarding JC Tiuseco).

Introducing in Trudis Liit the tv series is 5-year-old Jhyllianne Warde. She is best known for her Promil Preschool tv commercial.

Trudis Liit has a target date to air its pilot on June 14 under the Dramarama sa Hapon block of GMA.
