U-Kiss Invade Party Pilipinas’ Independence Day Special

Korean boyband U-Kiss stole the spotlight in Party Pilipinas' Independence Day special.

To promote their first major concert in Manila entitled “U-KISS 1st Kiss Tour in Manila”, the hit K-Pop group U-KISS performed their hit songs “Man Man Ha Ni” and “Binguel Binguel” on Party Pilipinas Philippine Independence Day celebration episode.

The concert, which originally scheduled for May 29 but had to be postponed by concert organizers “due to unforeseen circumstances” (however, there has been talk that the concert had to be postponed because ticket sales have been slow), will finally push through tomorrow night, June 14, at the Araneta Coliseum. After the concert in Manila, U-KISS will bring its 1st Kiss Tour to Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan.

U-KISS (which stands for Ubiquitous Korean International Super Star) is a South Korean boy band composed of seven members namely: Kevin, Ki Bum, Soo Hyun, Alexander, Eli, Dong Ho and Ki Seop.

U-KISS was formed two years ago by Korean entertainment management group NH Media. The group debuted in Japan in August 2008 alongside other Koran boy band, Paran. A month later, U-KISS released its first mini-album, N-Generation, with its carrier single “Not Young.”

Their first full length album, Only One was released on February 2010.

In March 2010, U-KISS went to the Philippines to promote their album, Only One. They had their mall tours to meet their fans and held autograph signing sessions after the performances. They also had their first appearance on Party Pilipinas and Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman.
