Ronnie Liang’s Brush with Death on ‘I Survived’

If it weren’t for the seatbelt, the country would have lost one of its most talented singers last March 2010.

Ronnie Liang, the singer behind hit songs “Ngiti” and “Gusto Kita,” figured in a vehicular accident in Palawan three months ago, which left several people injured.

The “Pinoy Dream Academy” graduate was sleeping on his way to a miting de avance when he was awakened by yells of his co-passengers just before their vehicle rammed to the side of the mountain.

Sensing trouble beforehand due to the driver’s incessant over-speeding, Liang had already buckled up; saving himself from what could be a career-ending accident.

Join Ronnie Liang as he recounts his horrifying experience to Ces Oreña-Drilon on “I Survived” this Thursday (June 17), after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.
