After accepting the Princess of Philippine Movies and TV award in the recent Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Awards, Kim Chiu managed to flaunt a smile even though feeling a little disheartened by the controversies she has to face every day.

Kim Chiu is always known as the cheerful and mounting lass since she entered the Pinoy Big Brother House. It has been 3 years since the public has seen her grow from a simple housemate to one of the most idyllic young actresses of her generation. And now that she’s at the peak of her stardom, the first Teen Big Winner has to endure one of the biggest tasks of being a celebrity which is facing all the bad publicities people throw unto her.

When asked what was the issue that most affected her, she revealed, “Yung ano, nagbago na daw ako, yung lumaki na daw yung ulo ko. Ang dami, sabi ko, ‘Ano bang ginawa ko sa inyo?’ Nagsimula to dun sa La Carmela, na miscommunication, tapos may inaaway sa Twitter. Wala nga akong Twitter eh. Di nga ako marunong magganun eh. Yun, nasisira lang ako. Minsan, kinausap ko yung handler ko, umiyak ako sa kanya. So parang anong nangyari, anong ginawa ko.” Kim furthered that she’s glad for being defended by her on-screen mother, Kris Aquino, whenever intrigues pull her down.

Kim also shared how sad she is about the forthcoming conclusion of her much-loved series, ‘Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo.’ “Siyempre malungkot kasi para na talaga kaming isang pamilya sa KTM. Mamimiss ko yung kulitan namin sa set lalo na yung kabaitan ni Ms. Kris at lahat ng mga katrabaho ko,” the young actress disclosed. Gerald Anderson and Coco Martin also uttered words of appreciation on the success of their second series together after ‘Tayong Dalawa’ and for grabbing major awards in the 41st Guillermo Mendoza Box Office Entertainment Awards: Prince of Philippine Movies and TV and Promising Male Box-Office Star for Movies & TV respectively.

Kim eagerly gave her personal insights about the last few episodes of their series where she, as Gwen, has to choose on which side to take, her husband’s (Gerald Anderson) or her half-brother (Coco Martin).

“Siguro asawa, dahil sa napapanood natin sa KTM parang OA na si Gwen sa pamilya niya. Dapat ngayon na patay na si Selena dapat dun na siya sa asawa niya,” Kim answered regarding the question of to whom will she take side in real life.
