Ai Ai delas Alas on Being Paired with Aga: ‘Huwag Siya Magbibigay ng Motibo Dahil Mahina Ako’

The Comedy Queen shared her excitement on having the King of Romance/Drama as her new leading man.

During the press conference of “M3: Malay Mo Ma-develop” which was held last Wednesday afternoon at the Dolphy Theater, Ai Ai delas Alas shared with the members of the press how excited she was when she learned that she’s doing a romantic comedy series with no less than the King of Romance/Drama himself, Aga Muhlach.

Aga Muhlach, on the other hand, said he’s happy with his new tv partner and he’s open to Ai Ai’s “naughtiness.”

Medyo nakaka-tense ng konti kasi malay mo nga,” he jokingly replied.

“Masaya, maganda. Masarap siyang kasama. Ipinagpapasalamat ko na ganito ang nangyayari sa taping,” he added on a serious note.

In the upcoming kapamilya rom-com “Malay Mo Ma-develop,” Ai Ai portrays the character of Kring-Kring—a “jologs” single mother who is ready to take on anything to give her son, Marcus, a better life. In the story, Kring-Kring will meet Aga’s character, JM Benicio III, a handsome, diligent, successful real estate developer and a certified 38-year-old bachelor.

Also starring in M3 are Megan Young, Jojo Alejar, Niña Jose, Jairus Aquino, Mika dela Cruz and Noel Trinidad. Helmed by award-winning director Jeffrey Jeturian, M3 premieres on July 3 on ABS-CBN.
